The Heaven’s gate and Hells flames Drama

Reality Outreach Ministry East Africa works closely with Youth Arise Africa to show a unique and powerful outreach tool of our time renowned as “Heaven’s Gate & Hell’s Flames ©” Drama with one common goal – impact the community one production at a time. The Heaven’s Gate & Hell’s Flames drama has been shown in Churches, learning institutions(High schools, colleges, universities) Malls, streets and sports tournaments across the Country and beyond with overwhelming appreciation and feedback of lives being transformed towards godliness. The morals of our society are slowly degrading and it is our conviction that this turn around begins and is sustained by acknowledging the place of God in one’s life and decisions thereof to be lived.

This is a powerful, dramatic presentation of the Gospel message, combining ageless, biblical truth with modern sound, lighting and multimedia effects. Combined with an incredible stage set this drama will allow us to present a professional evangelistic event to the community. For the last 5 years we have conducted over 438 shows, reach over 470,000 people and 113,000 plus have received Christ as Lord and savior. We partner with ministries that conduct regular discipleship in learning institutions to follow up new believers. We also donate Bibles to schools and discipleship tracks.

Masomo scholarship

Masomo is Swahili word for education. Education in public primary schools in Kenya is free but not in public secondary schools. Parents in arid, semi arid and marginalized areas struggle to take their children and keep them in school. A good number of girls who drop out of school usually end up forced to early marriage. Boys are usually forced to engage in child labor, criminal gangs and drugs. Education is one of the fundamental rights of every child. Sadly, this right does not apply to every child as some are kept out of school by lack of school fees. Youth Arise Africa steps in to help needy children stay in school by giving them Masomo scholarships. These scholarships are awarded annually based on availability of funds. Children who have applied for help are taken through a thorough vetting to establish the neediest. School fees are usually paid directly to the schools in the account of the beneficiary.

Boys Two Men-torship

The Boys to Men-torship program begun in 2015 with the sole aim offering a safe transition of boys from childhood to teen hood. This program involves secluding boys ages 10 and above for two weeks camp. They undergo rites of passage, supervised healing and mentorship away from the traditional way which put them under risk of HIV and erroneous teachings that could erode their morals. This is an annual program with subsequent follow up throughout the year. The program was established for mentorship through character building to provide a platform for collaboration between Parents/Guardians, Church, health care providers, program Graduates and corporate who wish to give back to society by providing upcoming youth with an initiation process that not only conforms to the highest Christian standards, but also shapes young men to their God given destiny

The boys not only go through the physical cut but also cut of the heart. We have currently had over 800 young men go through our mentorship camps. The impact of the mentorship can be felt in their spheres of influence. We also connect young men from both slums and academic centers to mentors in their specific field of interest. We acknowledge that there are boys whose fathers are absent or are orphans. Our aim is to provide father figure to these boys through mentorship hikes, sports days, father/son conferences and discipleship program.

One child one meal campaign

One child one meal campaign According to the world food program, 337,000 children under five years suffer from malnutrition. Twenty five percent of children in Kenya suffer from stunted growth due to poor nutrition. Most poor families only afford one meal per day usually in the evening. Primary Schools usually don’t offer lunch meaning poor children stay the whole day without eating. Youth Arise Africa stepped in to help keep a child in school by at least offering one meal to a hungry child.

School of creative’s

Every child is unique and gifted in his own way before the eyes of God. Youth Arise Africa acknowledges that they are many young people gifted creatively that need to be helped to tap their potential. School of creative’s is anchored on the belief that young people can use their God given talents to serve God and others. We nurture creative’s in the following areas, acting, dancing, content creation, graphic design, camera operations, editing, sound mixer operation, lighting, script writing, styling, stitching and visual arts. Our vision is to have a production house that will help young people express themselves freely and make a living through their gifts. Through partnerships with Citam Motion Pictures we have produced Easter under curfew stage play and Chiriku Drama series. We have mentored over 40 young people in various roles like acting, script writing, graphic design, camera operations, set art, styling, film production, editing and lighting.
